We suggest using a #10 regular, #14 or #13 fine Oxford Punch Needle when making mug rugs. Loops that are longer than 1/4" thick are not sturdy and stable enough to keep a mug from tipping.
You can easily trace 4 mug rugs on one piece of 24" x 24" monk's cloth and works great with our 14" x 14" or 18" x 18" Oxford Gripper Strip Frames. 2 of our Rug Yarn Packs are needed to create 4 Mug Rugs.
